Therapeutic Riding

Therapeutic Riding (NARHA) was developed by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Therapeutic Riding employs a horse, certified instructor, horse leader, and side walkers in mounted activities with clients to change and enrich lives confronted with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities.

Riding on a horse improves core strength, balance, coordination and awareness. Additionally self confidence and self esteem are increased focus is improved and clients are able to progress at their own pace toward maximum level of function.
